The versatile Sr. Social Media Lead will manage the day‑to‑day execution of our bank’s social media presence – across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube – to increase brand awareness, followers, and engagement. You’ll be hands‑on in producing compliant, engaging content across platforms, covering live events, and tracking performance.
Responsibilities
Create and schedule social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Write copy and design visuals that align with brand voice and compliance standards
Edit and upload video content, ensuring accessibility and compliance
Social Listening: Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond promptly and professionally
Provide live coverage at select events, conferences, and community programs
Track post‑performance and prepare weekly analytic snapshots
Compile reports and share insights with the Corporate Communications team
Maintain digital asset libraries
Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in social media or digital communications
Strong writing, graphics & video editing, and visual storytelling skills
Experience with social media management tools including Meltwater and native in‑app tools for monitoring, reporting, and analytics
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently
Understanding of social SEO, hashtags, and other marketing tactics
Strong strategic thinking + data‑driven decision making
Proven success building organic social programs that grow engagement and elevate brand reputation
Organized, detail‑oriented, and collaborate well cross‑functionally
Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments, balancing strategy with execution
Willingness to travel occasionally for event coverage

Photography and videography skills
Banking, finance, or regulated industry experience

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Pasadena, CA.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
