Our Bio-tech client is seeking a talented and versatile 3D/2D Motion Designer to support their team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for a creative professional who can bring ideas to life through motion, design, and video. The ideal candidate has strong visual storytelling skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced biotech or science-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create engaging 2D and/or 3D motion graphics for digital content, presentations, social media, and video productions
Design motion-ready graphics by creating adaptable visual assets for video, including building layered files in Illustrator or Figma (well-organized layers, pre-comps, and scalable elements) to ensure smooth handoff into animation and motion workflows.
Support video post-production by preparing and integrating graphics into edits, including cutting footage, placing and animating graphic elements, and assisting with video editing, sound design and basic color correction.
Collaborate with creative, marketing, and production teams to execute concepts from brief to delivery
Adapt existing assets into motion formats while maintaining brand consistency
Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a timely manner
Qualifications
Proven experience in motion design (2D and/or 3D)
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and/or Cinema 4D, Blender, Figma or similar
Strong sense of design, typography, timing, and composition
Video editing experience is a plus
Ability to take direction and incorporate feedback quickly
Strong organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience working with brand guidelines and marketing teams
Basic sound design or animation skills
Familiarity with current design and motion trends

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $60 to $90 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
