Job Description As the Crew Foreman, you'll be pivotal in guiding our construction teams through daily operations while ensuring all activities conform to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. This role demands a strong emphasis on leadership, problem-solving, and technical construction skills. By managing and working alongside your crew, you will ensure that projects such as retaining walls, patios, and walkways meet our high standards of execution and client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Operate and maintain construction equipment including Skid Loaders, Excavators, Bulldozers, and Rollers

Provide hands-on labor support when not operating machinery

Use grade laser tools for precise elevations setting

Read, layout, and execute work according to construction drawings

Lead the crew in handling sophisticated tasks and making intricate cuts

Plan and schedule material deliveries to meet production timelines

Uphold strict safety protocols and conduct crew safety training sessions

Train team members on machinery maintenance and operational protocols

Drive the company truck to and from project sites and for other job-related requirements

Manage production reporting, timekeeping, and ensure project documentation is complete

Address and resolve on-site challenges, providing clear and confident leadership

Communicate field updates and contingencies to project supervisors effectively

Contribute to team efforts and assist in collaborative problem solving

Requirements

Proven ability to communicate in English; bilingual abilities in Spanish is advantageous

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hardscaping including the construction of retaining walls, patios, and walkways

Strong leadership skills capable of managing teams and meeting production goals

Proficient in reading and interpreting elevations and construction plans

Extensive experience with relevant construction equipment

A safety-first mindset, with previous experience in enforcing rigorous safety standards
