
Senior Associate, Capital Markets & Securitization

VP of Capital Markets
Role Overview: The Senior Associate, Capital Markets & Securitization will play a
hands‑on, execution‑focused role dedicated primarily to RTL and residential loan securitizations
at Archwest Capital. This position is deeply involved in
day‑to‑day securitization execution, analytics, loan tape management, modeling, and transaction coordination
with internal teams and external partners.
This role is ideal for a candidate with
direct, practical securitization experience
(RTL, DSCR, Non‑QM, RMBS, ABS) who thrives in a fast‑paced private credit environment and wants to be embedded in the
core execution engine of Archwest’s capital markets strategy.
Essential Functions
Support
end‑to‑end execution of RTL securitizations
from collateral assembly through transaction close, including data preparation, collateral stratification, and coordination with banks, rating agencies, legal counsel, trustees, and third‑party due diligence providers.
Perform
detailed cash flow modeling, pool analytics, and scenario/stress analysis
to evaluate securitization structures, tranche performance, credit enhancement, and investor outcomes.
Analyze
credit risk and structural risk
in securitized lending transactions and monitor
post‑securitization portfolio performance
and collateral behavior.
Own and manage
loan data tape preparation, validation, and reconciliation , ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with securitization and rating agency requirements.
Coordinate and track
third‑party due diligence
(credit file reviews, property valuations, compliance checks) to support securitization readiness and closing timelines.
Capital Markets & Funding Support (Securitization‑Oriented)
Support
financial modeling and analysis directly related to securitization execution , funding facilities, and related hedging strategies.
Assist with
structuring, underwriting, and execution of securitization and warehouse transactions , working closely with internal stakeholders and external capital partners.
Maintain and enhance
securitization‑related models, databases, and reporting tools , partnering with Technology and Analytics teams to improve automation, data integrity, and scalability.
Prepare
investor materials, offering memorandum support, rating agency materials, and responses to investor and RWA inquiries
during securitization marketing and execution.
Cross‑Functional Partnership & Post‑Closing Performance
Partner closely with
Credit, Servicing, Operations, and Capital Markets
teams to ensure seamless securitization execution and accurate
post‑close performance tracking and reporting.
Support the development of
capital markets and securitization strategy , including preparation of
investment memoranda and transaction‑related market‑facing materials.
Gather and assess
market intelligence related to securitization market conditions, liquidity, regulatory developments, and investor appetite
for RTL and residential credit products.
Competencies & Skills
Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills ; experience with
Intex is strongly preferred
(Bloomberg or similar capital markets tools a plus).
Strong understanding of
securitization structures, waterfalls, credit enhancement, tranche performance, and rating agency processes.
Exceptional
attention to detail
with the ability to manage multiple securitization workstreams in a deadline‑driven, transaction‑oriented environment.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate
complex securitization and capital markets data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to support
investor‑facing materials, rating agency interactions, and internal deal documentation.
Highly organized, reliable, and proactive with strong execution discipline and follow‑through.
Proven ability to work cross‑functionally in a
high‑performance capital markets environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field required.
2–5+ years of hands‑on experience in securitization, structured finance, capital markets, or private credit.
Direct, practical experience with securitized products (RTL, DSCR, Non‑QM, RMBS, ABS) is strongly preferred and will be heavily weighted.
Prior experience supporting
securitization execution, warehouse lines, loan tape preparation, pool stratification, and rating agency processes is required.
Experience working with
loan tapes, strat tables, Intex models, rating agency materials, and investor reporting
is highly valued.
