Role Description We are hiring a

Business Development Manager

with strong tile and stone experience, preferably in the SW Florida market, to drive growth through strategic GC relationships, disciplined opportunity selection, and preconstruction leadership in the Southwest Florida market.

You will play a direct role in:

Revenue growth

Opportunity qualification

Relationship expansion

Project selection strategy

Technical tile estimating experience is preferred. Business development ownership is expected.

This Role Is Not:

Limited to internal bid preparation

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors and builders in SWFL

Identify and qualify new project opportunities

Lead preconstruction meetings and proposal development

Oversee preparation of detailed tile and stone estimates

Perform scope review, risk identification, and constructability analysis

Support proposal presentations and bid clarification meetings

Evaluate margin, schedule, and risk before pursuing projects

Collaborate with field teams to ensure alignment between pricing and execution

Contribute to long-term client retention and repeat business

Business Development Focus This role includes:

Proactive relationship building

Opportunity sourcing and qualification

Pipeline awareness and project selection strategy

Participation in client meetings and industry networking

Supporting repeat business growth

Experience in

construction business development, preconstruction strategy, or GC account management

is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management

Ability to conduct market research and identify growth opportunities

Organizational, time management, and project coordination skills

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team

Knowledge of tile, waterproofing, and sound suppression is a must

Knowledge of other flooring materials such as vinyl plank and tile, and hardwood is a plus
