Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive review of the newly launched e-commerce website, including architecture, workflows, integrations, and user experience.

Diagnose issues contributing to declined order volume, hung transactions, and conversion drop‑off.

Evaluate site complexity related to target customers, GIS mapping, and regulatory logic.

Identify unintended bottlenecks across the customer journey, checkout flow, and order processing lifecycle.

Analyze website performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

Review traffic sources, user behavior, funnel performance, conversion paths, and transaction data.

Identify tracking gaps, misconfigurations, or data integrity issues that may obscure root causes.

Translate analytical findings into clear business insights and actionable recommendations.

Evaluate integrations across the e-commerce ecosystem, including APIs and third‑party systems.

Assess interactions with ERP, integration middleware, and hosting infrastructure.

Identify failure points, latency issues, or process breakdowns across systems.

Provide a high‑level, objective assessment of what is working, what is not, and where the biggest risks lie.

Deliver prioritized recommendations, including immediate stabilization actions, short‑term improvements, and longer‑term structural or architectural considerations.

Clearly distinguish between diagnosis and execution, enabling the organization to outsource fixes as needed.

Requirements

5‑10 years of experience analyzing and optimizing complex e‑commerce websites.

Hands‑on experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM).

Strong background in web analytics and performance diagnostics.

Deep understanding of e‑commerce funnels and transaction flows; APIs and system integrations; data tracking and measurement strategy.

Strong consulting mindset: objective, structured, and business‑focused.

Proven ability to step into ambiguous environments quickly and identify root causes.

Preferred Experience

Experience with Kentico, Z‑Node, or similar enterprise CMS/hosting platforms.

Experience with integration platforms such as Olma.

Prior experience working as an advisor, consultant, or interim specialist.

Familiarity with NetSuite (ERP).

Exposure to highly regulated, jurisdiction‑specific, or rules‑driven e‑commerce environments.

Compensation The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
