The Role AXS is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for helping set up and run paid social media campaigns. This includes paid‑campaign creation and maintenance, managing assets, organizing audience segments, and tracking campaign performance. The role also involves analyzing results and creating reports to measure success and find ways to improve future campaigns.
What Will You Do?
Provide day‑to‑day support for paid social marketing campaigns, assisting in the setup, QA, maintenance, and reporting for campaigns.
Build audience segments, organize assets, and assist with campaign creation across social platforms, specifically Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Pinterest, X (Twitter), and Reddit.
Monitor campaign performance metrics, track budget pacing, and identify abnormalities and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Paid Social and internal teams to align on campaign goals.
Use Looker and other business intelligence tools to create dashboards and marketing reports; assist with creating presentations as needed.
Assist in editing creative assets using design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva); work with Director, Client Marketing and internal team to organize assets, provide mocks for approval, and obtain ad proofs for presentations and client reports.
Conduct competitive research, audience analysis, and stay on top of the latest trends in social media platforms to improve targeting and ad creative performance.
Assist with A/B testing to optimize creative, copy, audience, placement, and bid strategies.
Assist with other digital marketing tasks as necessary to support overall team objectives.
What Will You Bring?
BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2‑4 years’ experience with supporting digital marketing, ideally in paid social
Proficiency in using major advertising platforms, such as Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Ads, Snap Ads, etc.
Excellent attention to detail in setting up campaigns and managing budgets
High level of proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Google Slides
Strong understanding of digital marketing technology concepts (e.g., pixels, conversion events, attribution, etc.)
Excellent organizational skills to assist in the management of hundreds of simultaneously paid social campaigns
Ability to analyze complex datasets, track key metrics, and identify optimization opportunities
Proficiency with design tools such as Photoshop or Canva, and ability to make edits to ad creatives
Understanding of media planning principles and core marketing concepts
Ability to use web analytics/BI tools, such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Looker to generate reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present reporting and analysis to colleagues and Senior Managers
Pay Scale:
$61,055 – $79,000
