
Our client, a lifestyle brand, is seeking an
Associate Merchandiser
to join their team in NYC on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
Develop overall seasonal product strategies that align with brand direction and address the specific needs of the underwear and sleepwear consumer.
Partner with Design to guide product concepts and create seasonal adoption decks for presentation to regional partners.
Serve as the global liaison across regions from product concept through market launch, ensuring category needs are met worldwide.
Create and own seasonal line sheets, including all style details and pricing.
Partner with Sales to present the collection during market appointments and prepare necessary CADs for NuOrder uploads.
Maintain key merchandising systems and tools, including Centric PLM and line matrix updates.
Drive merchandising efficiency by monitoring and reporting on key KPIs such as SKU productivity, development rates, and regional adoption.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field
3–4 years of merchandising and product development experience
Deep understanding of retail math, forecasting techniques, and planning best practices
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
