Role Description MAX is seeking a high-energy, Bilingual (English/Spanish) Social Media Community Manager for a 4-month temporary role. This position supports high-visibility community activations and live events across the Pacific Northwest during a major international sporting event series hosted in Seattle this summer.
This role requires a social media professional who can pivot seamlessly between creative content capture, technical ad management, and on-camera engagement for both English and Spanish-speaking audiences.
Role Responsibilities
Live Event Coverage: On-site social media capture and community engagement at Seattle fan activations.
Bilingual Content Creation: Produce, edit, and publish platform-specific content (TikTok, Instagram, X) in both English and Spanish .
On-Camera Talent: Serve as the brand’s on-camera representative for "of-the-moment" social reporting; must be comfortable delivering segments in both languages.
Meta Ads Support: Manage and optimize paid social campaigns using Meta Ads Manager.
Community Moderation: Monitor and respond to community engagement in English and Spanish to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Analytics: Contribute to campaign reporting and KPI tracking.
Qualifications
Language Proficiency:
Professional-level fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written) is required. Candidates must be able to conduct interviews and write social copy in both languages.
Experience: 2+ years of professional social media marketing or agency experience.
Technical: Proficient in Meta Ads Manager and mobile editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Canva).
Skills: Excellent on-camera presence and bilingual written communication.
Flexibility: Must be available for evening and weekend shifts during key match weeks.
Travel: Reliable transportation for regional travel within the Seattle area.
Compensation & Statutory Benefits
Hourly Rate:
$40.87 – $48.08 per hour
(Based on experience).
Overtime:
Any hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek will be paid at
1.5x the hourly rate
($61.30 – $72.12/hr).
Paid Sick & Safe Time (PSST):
You will accrue
1 hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked .
State Insurance:
This role is covered by the
Washington Paid Family & Medical Leave (1.13% premium)
and the
WA Cares Fund , both managed via payroll withholding.
Expenses:
All authorized regional travel and event-related costs are 100% reimbursed.
Equipment:
Company laptop and mobile stipend provided.
Note: This temporary role is not eligible for medical, dental, or 401(k) benefits.
