Are you a driven, results-oriented individual with a passion for building relationships and closing deals?
The Inside Sales Membership Director is a results-driven professional responsible for driving membership growth through strategic inside sales efforts. This individual will cultivate relationships with prospective members, retain existing members, and meet or exceed sales goals by implementing effective membership strategies. In addition, they are responsible for promoting association events and marketing association benefits to both prospects and current members. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, goal-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Membership Sales
Proactively identify and contact potential members through calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual membership goals.
Present membership benefits clearly and persuasively to prospects and leads.
Member Retention And Engagement
Collaborate with existing members to ensure satisfaction and engagement.
Implement retention strategies to reduce churn and increase member value.
Gather and analyze member feedback to improve offerings and services.
Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and interactions using CRM software.
Track and report sales metrics, progress, and forecasts regularly.
Events And Programs
Cross-sell member benefits and programs to both existing and potential members
Solicit advertisers for various association publications
Solicit sponsors and attendees for association events and programs
Other Responsibilities
Update member information as necessary in membership database to keep both current members and prospective member files updated
Small office tasks to lend a hand to others in the office
And other general administrative duties as they arise
Qualifications
Equivalent professional experience in Inside Sales will be considered in place of a degree.
Proven track record of success in inside sales or a similar role (experience in membership sales is a plus).
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Goal-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and in team settings.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Able to multi-task – attacking multiple projects at the same time
