Our client is a pioneering AgTech company expanding across Europe. They develop multi-functional robotic platforms that automate labor‑intensive greenhouse tasks, operating under a Hardware‑as‑a‑Service model. Their customers include leading commercial growers and cooperatives seeking sustainable, data‑driven farming solutions.

About the Role You will be the

first full-time local hire in Europe , leading direct sales in the Netherlands and Belgium. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you'll drive adoption of robotic greenhouse solutions by building relationships with growers, cooperatives, and partners.

This is a

field‑based role

requiring autonomy, relationship‑building skills, and deep knowledge of the greenhouse ecosystem.

Travel: 30–40% (mainly Northwestern Europe)

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, including demos and field visits

Build and maintain relationships with commercial growers and horticultural cooperatives

Develop new business opportunities alongside company‑provided strategic leads

Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events

Collaborate with global sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding

Support logistics of on‑site robot deployment and provide basic technical guidance

Maintain sales activity records and market intelligence

Requirements Must‑Have

Minimum 2 years' experience

in one or more of:

Greenhouse operations or horticulture/agronomy

Greenhouse technology or agricultural equipment for CEA

AgTech or precision agriculture (irrigation, fertigation, climate systems, greenhouse infrastructure)

Direct customer‑facing experience

with growers, greenhouse operators, or horticulture producers

Fluent in Dutch and English

(spoken and written)

Hands‑on exposure

to greenhouse environments or crop production systems

Strongly Preferred

Understanding of grower operations and the greenhouse industry in Netherlands/Belgium

Self‑starter mentality, comfortable in a startup environment
