Inside Sales Consultant – National Event Sales (Interim Coverage) Location:

Fully remote (following completion of in‑office training)

Compensation:

Base salary range of $45‑55k with uncapped commissions; $75,000‑85,000 up total compensation.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday

Job Summary The Inside Sales Consultant – National Event Sales is a key member of Invited’s National Corporate Sales organization, responsible for selling private events nationwide during periods of Event Sales Director vacancy, leave of absence, or FMLA coverage at the club level. This role functions as a national interim Event Sales seller, providing continuity, professionalism, and revenue protection for clubs without on‑site event sales coverage. The consultant owns the full sales cycle—from lead engagement and client consultation through contract execution—while partnering closely with club leadership and operations teams to ensure a seamless handoff. This is a high‑volume, performance‑driven inside sales role requiring strong consultative selling skills, event knowledge, and the ability to quickly adapt to different club environments across the country.

Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation

Sell private events (social, corporate, weddings, golf outings, and special events) on behalf of assigned clubs nationwide.

Serve as interim Event Sales coverage during vacancies, FMLA, or approved leave periods.

Conduct proactive outbound and inbound sales outreach to generate event revenue.

Own the client consultation process, uncovering needs and presenting tailored event solutions aligned with club offerings and profitability goals.

Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales targets.

Client Experience & Relationship Management

Deliver a polished, professional client experience consistent with Invited brand standards.

Build trust quickly with prospects and clients unfamiliar with a national sales model.

Clearly set expectations and ensure accurate communication between the client and club operations teams.

Gather client feedback and communicate insights to club leadership and regional partners.

Operational Coordination

Partner with General Managers, Executive Chefs, and club teams to ensure event details, pricing, and availability are accurate.

Ensure clean, timely handoff of contracted events to club teams for execution.

Maintain accurate records of all sales activity, contracts, and client details in CRM and event management systems.

Systems & Reporting

Utilize CRM and event sales tools (e.g., Cater Pro, Power BI) to track pipeline, performance, and revenue.

Maintain strong organization across multiple clubs, markets, and event types.

Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.

Highly motivated, self‑directed, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment.

Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to sell experiences—not just price.

Confident communicator with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Able to quickly learn and represent multiple club offerings across different markets.

Organized, detail‑oriented, and effective at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

Coachable, collaborative, and solution‑oriented.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent job experience.
