Sales Estimator
Position Summary As a Sales Estimator for BMS CAT, you will be responsible for estimating mitigation work relating to fire, flood and other losses occurring to residential or commercial properties. You will work in close contact with the insurance company, adjusters, and the property owner to ensure the project is bid accurately and competitively. You will build long‑term relationships with adjusters and insurance companies to ensure job opportunities are referred to you for estimating.
Essential Functions This position allows you to interact with both commercial and residential property owners, insurance adjusters, and TPAs. You will work on projects ranging from a few thousand dollars up to multi‑million dollars. Your earnings potential is only capped by your own drive and hard work.
Experience And Skill Requirements
Minimum two years of hands‑on experience estimating residential and commercial mitigation projects.
Strong organizational skills and a team‑oriented attitude.
Experience with Xactimate software highly preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with property owners, residential and commercial.
Experience with time‑and‑material estimating is helpful.
Compensation As a Sales Estimator, you will receive a guaranteed base plus commissions based on each project’s profitability. Compensation varies by experience level and will be discussed during the interview. You will be provided with a company vehicle, gas card, EZ pass or toll tag, laptop, smartphone, and all necessary tools. Benefits include fully paid employee medical insurance, optional dental/optical, a 401(k) plan and more.
Base Pay Minimum: $90,000
Base Pay Maximum: $120,000
