Role Overview Initio Sphere is onboarding
Capital Growth Mentors
to provide
strategic, operational, and growth-oriented guidance
to fund managers, investors, and deal sponsors.
This is
not a traditional employment role . Mentors operate as
independent contractors , activated through a verification and approval process.
Once approved, Capital Growth Mentors:
Advise on
fund growth, capital raising, deal structuring, and operational strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts, building internal capacity and credibility
Access curated deal flow, earning opportunities, and platform-driven exposure
Build a
verified Mentor Track Record
within the ecosystem
This role is ideal for
experienced operators, ex-investment bankers, fund managers, or senior consultants
with a proven record of scaling capital initiatives or leading strategic investment growth.
What You’ll Do (Approval-Based) Approved Capital Growth Mentors may:
Advise fund managers on
capital strategy, LP engagement, and fundraising positioning
Support deal sponsors with
structuring, diligence oversight, and negotiation strategy
Mentor analysts and deal scouts on
modeling, diligence, and transaction execution
Provide
portfolio growth guidance, operational insights, and value creation strategies
Participate in
curated introductions
with institutional investors or co-investors
Mentors focus on
high-level strategic guidance, capital growth, and relationship-driven deal activation . They do
not handle day-to-day transactional modeling
unless approved.
Eligible Advisory & Mentorship Areas
Fund growth, capital raising, and LP communications
Deal structuring, investment committee support, and transaction strategy
Operational or portfolio company advisory
Mentorship and technical training for analysts and scouts
Investor relations and network strategy
Approval is granted based on
experience, track record, and demonstrated ability to drive capital growth and advise on real transactions .
Compensation & Deal Economics Hourly rates:
$200–$500, depending on experience, track record, and engagement scope
Transaction-based incentives
may be earned for advisory on closed deals
Payments issued after successful completion of advisory milestones or deal closure
No cap on earnings
for consistently high-value contributions
