As our next dishwasher, we're looking for hardworking individuals who are eager to contribute to the smooth operation of our busy kitchen. We need someone dependable who can pitch in and help with a variety of kitchen tasks. In addition to unloading dirty dishes brought in by bussers, you will be scraping, sorting, and loading dishes into the dishwashing machine. Responsibilities
Take part in employee meetings regularly to stay up to date on all policies and safety regulations Keep track of dishwashing machine mechanical defects while also maintaining accurate levels of detergent and cleaning supplies After unloading the dishwasher, return utensils and plates to their proper locations Maintain a clean working environment by sweeping and mopping kitchen floors daily Sort dishes, scrape plates, and rinse glassware before loading into the dishwashing machine Qualifications
Previous experience working in food service is preferred Excellent stamina and physical health Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic Compensation
$11 per hour About Hilton Jackson
Our hotel is off I-55 and Highway 51, in Jackson's business district. A variety of shops and restaurants are within a half-mile, and we’re nine miles from downtown Jackson. The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum are less than 15 minutes away.
