
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Join a well-established supplier and manufacturer of conveyors and aggregate equipment as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality design and timely delivery of equipment. Be part of a growing team, contributing to innovative solutions in a brand-new facility.
Responsibilities
Design mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD 2D.
Develop 3D models and solid models to support product development.
Collaborate with other designers to optimize design processes and outcomes.
Create detailed 2D designs and drawings for manufacturing and assembly purposes.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and modeling.
Experience with AutoCAD 2D for design documentation.
Strong background in mechanical design and machine design.
Ability to perform 3D modeling and solid modeling effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Background in designing conveyors is a plus but not required.
Work Environment Work in a newly constructed facility with a team of three designers and a manager. The environment is collaborative, with a focus on growth and innovation. Dress code is professional. Interviews will be conducted on-site, including a SolidWorks proficiency test.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOSINEE, WI.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
