About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Sales Engineer for a leading off‑road equipment / engineered components company in Litchfield, MN. In this role, you’ll support customers through the full lifecycle of custom‑engineered operator solutions while collaborating closely with technical, design, and manufacturing teams. What You’ll Do as a Sales Engineer
Build and grow relationships with OEMs in the off‑road equipment industry
Introduce the company’s product portfolio to new and existing customers
Guide customers through the full cab/ROPS business and product lifecycle
Collaborate with design engineers to develop integrated technical solutions
Oversee change orders, engineering updates, and customer communication
Manage projects post‑launch in partnership with manufacturing and technical teams
Support quality, production trends, and customer-driven improvements
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
What You Need to Bring to the Sales Engineer Role
Proven experience selling major components (e.g., axles, engines, hydraulics, seats, transmissions)
Strong understanding of off‑road equipment OEM environments
Mechanical or engineering background strongly preferred
Ability to read blueprints and grasp detailed technical requirements
Strong consultative selling and customer relationship skills
Ability to meet applicable background check or screening requirements
