Technical Sales Representative
to help expand its footprint across North America. This organization is at the forefront of next‑generation, energy‑efficient finishing solutions—delivering sustainable, VOC‑free materials that cure instantly with UV light and enable coating on substrates that traditional powders can’t handle.
With a small, agile team and a strong culture of innovation, this company supports markets ranging from retail and furniture to industrial, healthcare, building products, and more.
***This is a base + uncapped commission role. My client is also going to guarantee some commissions from existing clients to help generate some early wins.***
What You’ll Do In this role, you’ll drive the adoption of UV‑cured powder coatings by building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and guiding customers through technical evaluations and development work. Responsibilities include:
Executing a national sales strategy focused on market growth and technology adoption
Identifying and qualifying new customers, then managing the full sales cycle
Leading onsite visits, presentations, trials, and demonstrations
Developing a deep understanding of UV‑curable powder coatings and translating technical advantages into customer value
Collaborating closely with internal Operations, R&D, and Engineering teams
Supporting onboarding, training, and post‑sale technical engagement
Maintaining and growing existing customer accounts
Managing CRM records accurately (HubSpot experience is a plus)
Contributing to sales budgeting and forecasting
Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences
Traveling approximately 25–50% (domestic with occasional international)
