Being a core part of the UW Leadership team, the UW director role will drive the development of UW strategies, delivery of the group’s strategic plan, oversight of portfolio performance and will ensure robust governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Permanent Key Duties (Including but not limited to): Form part of the UW leadership team, contributing to strategy development, team leadership and wider department development Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring these trade to budgeted figures and achieve target profitability Take ownership of the UW governance framework, and chair key governance forums Develop robust process for oversight of company’s AR, claims and anti-fraud activity Insurance qualifications (CII or IFoA) would be an advantage Deep knowledge of the insurance market and it’s competitive dynamics Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills Competency across regulatory, risk and compliance dimensions
