We are seeking a talented and experienced
Senior Preconstruction Manager
to lead pre-construction efforts. In this crucial role, you will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring the delivery of precise and competitive project bids. You will be responsible for analyzing project plans, specifications, and other vital documents to accurately assess project costs. Key Responsibilities: Review and analyze project documentation to fully understand project requirements. Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and prepare thorough cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to secure competitive pricing. Work together with project managers, estimators, architects, and team members to identify value engineering opportunities. Prepare and present comprehensive and competitive bid proposals to clients. Participate in pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits as necessary. Keep abreast of market trends, pricing, and industry best practices. Demonstrate a strong understanding of project schedules and deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a Construction Estimator with a solid track record of successfully bidding and winning projects. In-depth knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and methods. Proficiency in construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team. Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.
