Position: Microsoft Technical Lead - Manager in Government and Public Sector Technology Consulting Our Government & Public Sector practice at EY offers comprehensive consulting services to assist Federal, State, Local, and Education clients in implementing innovative solutions to achieve their mission goals. The Opportunity As part of our GPS Digital Engineering practice, you will tackle complex challenges through purposeful transformation. Our global team is focused on creating innovative digital experiences that drive client success. We blend our understanding of public sector missions with best practices from the private sector, allowing us to provide customized support that addresses each client’s unique needs. As a Microsoft Technical Lead, you will mentor a talented team and provide expert advice to U.S. government agencies on digital strategy, customer experience, process improvement, and technology integration. Your Key Responsibilities Oversee application integration, quality assurance, and software development. Analyze technology business requirements. Lead solution deployments effectively. Utilize Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform for innovative solution design and configuration. Implement JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular. Coach and develop junior team members to foster their growth. In addition to your client focus, you will also take on managerial responsibilities, including: Strengthening internal and external relationships. Providing innovative solutions and contributing to thought leadership. Identifying and managing potential risks. Supporting and mentoring staff to cultivate a positive learning environment. Conducting performance reviews and delivering constructive feedback. Skills and Attributes for Success Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Proven problem-solving abilities. Previous consulting experience is preferred. Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. 8+ years of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML. Experience in application integration, software development, and external system integration. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Power Platform solutions. Familiarity with JavaScript UI frameworks like React or Angular. Competence in ADO Build Pipelines or similar tools. Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities. Ability to understand agile methodologies and development practices. Willingness to work in-person as required. Due to the nature of our projects in the Government and Public Sector, work may require being present on-site at client, EY, or contractor locations. While we aim for commutable project placements, some travel (20 - 30% or more) may still be necessary based on project needs. Ideally, You Will Also Have Microsoft Certifications and further consulting experience. Expertise in producing written and visual communication products.
