Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing**This position is responsible for all aspects of customer service; receiving and processing orders, direct communication with truck drivers and customers, follow up and problem solve orders when necessary, and provide efficient and professional service to drivers and customers.* Provide exceptional customer and driver support by processing orders, answering inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.* Manage high‑volume calls and communications with truck drivers and plant personnel across 12 scale locations.* Issue accurate tickets, maintain organized transaction records, and process overweight permits daily.* Enter customer and job data into JWS and coordinate deliveries with freight carriers for efficiency.* Communicate order confirmations, status updates, and ensure timely, accurate order processing.* Provide after‑hours or early‑morning shift coverage as needed, including during inclement weather.* Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM and rotational Saturdays 6:00AM - 12:00PM. Ability to work 4:00AM - 12:00PM shift as needed for vacation coverage.**What Are We Looking For*** Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Proficiency in using business systems and tools to support customer service functions.* Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.* Commitment to teamwork, reliability, and continuous improvement.**Experience and Skills*** Bilingual in Spanish required; customer service and sales experience preferred.* Strong communication skills and professional telephone etiquette.* Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems.* Knowledge of aggregates or construction materials helpful.* High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional training preferred.**Work Environment**This role is based in an office setting within an aggregates operation. It may require occasional visits to plant or site locations.
