Job Purpose As an Inside Sales Specialist, you’ll support all inside sales operations by managing incoming customer inquiries, preparing quotes, closing sales, and coordinating with internal departments to deliver an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, product knowledge, and the ability to identify customer needs and sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
Manage customer engagement for call-ins, walk-ins, and online sales opportunities
Identify customer needs, prepare quotes, and negotiate and close sales
Document and manage all walk-in, call-in, and online inquiries
Maintain strong product knowledge across GME products, Stihl equipment, mowers, and tractors
Maintain and update customer information and sales pipelines in the company CRM system
Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Rental departments to ensure excellent customer experience
Assist with product delivery, including walk-arounds and customer training at time of sale
Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Sales experience (dealership or industry experience preferred)
Mechanically inclined with basic equipment knowledge
Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and using modern technology
Ability to use CRM systems and sales tools effectively
Self‑motivated with the ability to recognize and act on sales opportunities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to meet revenue and profit goals using company sales metrics
Physical ability to operate equipment and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in compact construction equipment, tree care equipment, or dealership sales
