Job Description: Precision AirConvey seeks an experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our industry‑leading organization. Working remotely and collaborating with our internal team, the Regional Sales Representative will be responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customers. The right candidate will have 3+ years of capital equipment sales experience, prior experience working in a remote position, and will be able to develop lasting business relationships. You will have the benefit of working for the largest and most renowned provider in this industry and will work closely with long‑tenured industry experts.

This role will cover the following states: CO, IL, IA, NE, WI, SD, ND, MN.

This role is geared for a hunter mindset, someone who is not afraid to make the calls and have the face‑to‑face interactions needed to overcome roadblocks and close business over a long sales cycle (6‑12 months selling complex, high investment solutions). The position reports to the Director of Technical Sales and offers:

Responsibilities:

Develop leads and complete the sales process on engineered systems

Plan and schedule activities, including prospecting, meetings, etc., required to achieve sales goals

Confer with potential customers and/or manufacturers’ reps in assigned territory to ascertain equipment needs

Facilitate the acquisition of all relevant data between the customer and the Project Engineer to support accurate and efficient cost‑competitive quote preparation

Follow established sales process and company procedures

Enter new and current customer data into our CRM database

Represent the company at trade shows and association meetings

Monitor, review, and report on key metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved and execute sales activity documentation in a timely and professional manner

Work with internal departments to ensure quality, improve efficiencies, and control costs while providing superior customer support and issue resolution

Ensure the growth of the business and be committed to the company’s success

Requirements:

Hold a bachelor’s degree or comparable professional experience

Have 3+ years of experience selling capital equipment; familiarity with industrial machinery is beneficial

Have a proven track record of business‑to‑business sales success

Possess strong presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills with the ability to close sales

Demonstrate the ability to articulate a value proposition that directly addresses clients’ individual and distinct needs

Be people‑oriented, customer focused, and assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients

Demonstrate proficiency in territory analysis and be able to identify and develop new client and market opportunities

Have strong self and time management skills and work ethic to work remotely

Have outstanding multi‑tasking and organizational skills with the ability to complete difficult assignments without supervision in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Demonstrate sound business judgment, strong decision‑making, superior written and verbal communication skills

Be available to travel 60% of the time within assigned territory to cultivate new business opportunities

Thrive in a team environment and be a positive team player

Have computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM programs
