
Marketing Specialist
Rapidly growing instrumentation company based in Brea, California is seeking an entry-level Marketing Specialist with a technical background who is comfortable in a multifaceted working role.
Job Description We are seeking a task-driven, self-starter Marketing Specialist who creates and oversees marketing projects, using a deep technical understanding to produce and distribute high-quality digital content. This role will support multi-platform marketing initiatives including social media management, short and long form video production, email marketing, and product launch support. The ideal candidate can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly as they gain industry and product knowledge.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Leverage technical experience to rapidly become knowledgeable in company products and applications, as well as ensure accuracy in marketing content
Manage and distribute content across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging
Create social media content after developing a working understanding of the industry and target audience
Produce short‑form vertical video content for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Instagram Reels, with a primary focus on engaging field technicians and entry‑level employees
Assist with video production, including filming, editing, and basic script or copy development
Create and manage email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp, including performance tracking and analytics
Support new product launches by assisting with marketing assets, content creation, and content review
Execute marketing plans, programs, and promotions across digital channels
Drive brand awareness through coordinated marketing and content initiatives
Manage sales demo inventory
Execute and coordinate tradeshows activities
Requirements

Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret engagement and campaign performance data
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams

Qualifications:
Minimum of either an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
or
3+ years of technical work experience (e.g., engineering, industrial, instrumentation or utilities)
0–3 years of relevant marketing work experience
Experience or interest in technical products preferred
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word
Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe suite preferred
Experience or working knowledge of Mailchimp is a plus
