Overview Own a large product or set of products, representing the voice of the customer and stakeholders, while aligning product strategy with business goals. Drive product vision, prioritize the backlog, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver value.
Key Responsibilities
Define and communicate product vision and roadmap for large-scale products.
Prioritize product backlog(s) based on strategy and customer value.
Write user stories, specify acceptance criteria, and groom backlog with agile teams.
Represent the customer in product decisions and advocate for outcomes over outputs.
Collaborate across teams and Product Owners to align customer journeys and dependent backlogs.
Use analytics and design thinking methods to inform product decisions.
Act as liaison between stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior leadership.
Ensure adherence to risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.
Support a diverse and inclusive environment reflecting company values.
May act on behalf of the Senior Product Owner as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree + 6 years of business, analytical, technical, and/or product experience or 10 years combined education/work experience including 6 years relevant experience.
Banking experience, preferably with Commercial clients or Fintech embedded banking solutions.
Agile experience, preferably with Jira/Atlassian suite.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage ambiguous projects independently.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience prioritizing competing initiatives in fast-changing environments.
Strong independent decision-making and influencing skills.
Understanding of Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean principles.
Experience collaborating with UX teams on product design.
Experience managing digital product capabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Subject matter expertise relevant to assigned product.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
