The Sales Manager fulfills responsibilities primarily through effective personnel management, knowledge of market potential, and establishing performance standards. **Sales Manager Responsibilities:**
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of the New andUsed Sales team
- Forecast goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthlyand annual basis.
- Ability to drive traffic through internet leads and phone calls
**Sales Manager Qualifications:**
- Previous automotive leadership experience with increasing responsibility
- Proven ability to close sales
- Should this be customer-focused with the ability to “think on your feet”
- Self-starter with proven ability to seek out new ways to build opportunities for the dealership and customer satisfaction
