SUMMARY The Product Marketing Specialist coordinates and implements strategic marketing plans to generate brand awareness and grow products and services for Carter Bank. This position provides strategic planning and tactical execution for all products and services marketing initiatives and programs, working as part of a cross‑functional team of corporate communications, agency partners, internal tech support, and line of business owners.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Serve as primary contact for assigned products and services to develop marketing plans and briefs, coordinate campaign creation, and campaign execution
Coordinate and execute best‑in‑class marketing campaigns that drive acquisition, utilization, and retention of products and services
Anticipate, recommend, and coordinate the development of advertising, collateral, signage, product naming, digital marketing, social media, customer benefits, internal communications, etc.
Create, plan, and execute go‑to‑market campaigns and product launches
Support the ideation and improvement of new and existing products and services
Coordinate and manage third‑party and vendor activities
Responsible for managing product and services marketing projects across all functions of the company ensuring projects and tasks come within allocated budget parameters
Meet deadlines and ensure accurate approvals of content and quality
Monitor sources and maintain and provide business intelligence on customers, competitors and industry related to products and services
Provide post‑campaign reporting and information to internal stakeholders
Coordinate follow‑up for giveaways, prospecting, and other lead generation activities from events and marketing campaigns
Stay up to date with the latest industry and trends and proactively research competitor activity
Monitor analysis and report KPI status for marketing initiatives and events
Monitor and support ongoing marketing initiatives in growth markets
Ensure compliance with all bank regulations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field or equivalent work experience preferred
Previous experience in the financial services industry and/or advertising agency experience is a plus
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Intermediate knowledge of banking products and services
Intermediate knowledge of marketing best practices

Must be able to sit at a desk for long periods of time and use a computer
Must be able to occasionally move or lift up to 10 pounds
May be asked to work supplemental hours periodically
Limited travel required occasionally during and after business hours
