
Inside Sales Team Lead

A client of ours is seeking an Inside Sales Team Lead with a strong background in industrial pump sales and pump system applications to lead inside sales operations for a growing pump manufacturer serving end users, OEMs, and distributors. This role is ideal for someone who understands pump selection, sizing, and application engineering and can combine technical knowledge with sales leadership.
You’ll oversee quoting, order processing, customer communication, and inside sales performance while serving as a technical resource for customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily inside sales activities focused on pumps, parts, and systems Ensure fast, accurate quotations and order entry Provide technical guidance on pump selection, sizing, and applications Support distributors, OEMs, and end users with product and application questions Oversee communication related to technical issues, warranty matters, and product information Train customers and internal staff on pump products and system applications Coach and develop inside sales personnel to strengthen technical and sales capabilities Maintain CRM/ERP records and monitor inside sales performance Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or related technical field 5+ years of experience selling industrial pumps or fluid handling equipment Strong knowledge of pump types, motors, and fluid handling systems Experience providing application-level technical support Prior experience leading or mentoring inside sales teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM/ERP systems, and pump sizing software Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills An Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
