WHAT YOU WILL DO Hyundai Motor America (HMA) is seeking a Senior Group Manager, Incentives Planning & Analysis to lead the strategy, analytics, and execution of consumer incentive programs across the U.S. market. This role plays a critical part in shaping automotive pricing, incentives, APR and lease programs, balancing sales growth, profitability, and competitive positioning.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for candidates with OEM incentives, automotive lending, captive finance, or F&I experience, deep analytical expertise, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, executive‑level insights.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Lead the planning and analysis team in developingshort‑ and long‑term automotive consumer incentive strategies.

Design and optimize consumer incentive programs (cash, APR, lease, regional, and inventory‑driven offers) to maximize sales volume and profitability.

Partner cross‑functionally with Regional Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Marketing, Product Line Management, and Hyundai Capital to align strategy and execution.

Own and manage the Executive Approval process for all consumer incentive programs.

Present data‑driven recommendations to senior leadership, clearly articulating trade‑offs, risks, and financial impact.

Translate complex analytical outputs into concise, executive‑ready presentations using both visual and verbal storytelling.

Develop and maintain quantitative incentive models and demand forecasts, incorporating demand‑sensing inputs such as PIN, Market Scan, and S&P Global data.

Apply microeconomic principles to pricing, incentives, and elasticity analysis.

Use advanced analytics to evaluate program ROI, competitive response, and market dynamics.

Monitor and manage Operational Plan (OP) budgets, supporting monthly and ad‑hoc forecasting, reconciliation, and variance analysis.

Ensure incentive program structures remain optimized within annual budget constraints.

Approve incentive adjustments, payments, purchase requests, and accounting documentation in accordance with company controls.

Collaborate closely with Hyundai Capital to ensure smooth implementation of APR and lease programs.

Lead development of dealer and salesperson objective programs (e.g., STAR) aligned with overall sales and incentive strategy.

Ensure programs are executable, competitive, and aligned with dealer operations.

Manage, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of analysts and planners.

Oversee vendor relationships, defining scope, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement.

Approve employee time off, weekly incentive payments, and related administrative responsibilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

Ten or more years of experience of which at least eight years of directly related experience in distribution and or sales planning and analysis in the automotive industry or related experience.

OEM incentive and/or F&I experience is preferred

Captive finance experience is preferred.

Prior field experience in automotive sales and service operations is preferred.

Three or more years of supervisory experience is desired.

Strong analytical skills using advanced level of Microsoft Excel (VBA automation, Power Query).

Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or SQL for data analysis and modeling.

Strong microeconomic and analytic skills, using quantitative and qualitative data to inform incentives, pricing, and market strategy decisions.

Effective knowledge of automotive pricing and incentives approaches and strategies.

Experience managing, leading, and mentoring teams

Ability to influence a wide range of management levels, both inside and outside of HMA.

Demonstrated ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling executive-level presentations that influence decision-making.

Compensation Range: $137,025.00 - $203,000.00 annual base salary
