Digital Community & Reputation Specialist

who will serve as the public digital voice of the organization. This highly trusted role is responsible for actively engaging donors, partners, and the public across social and digital platforms, managing OBI's online reputation, and ensuring accurate business presence across listings and review sites.

Using Sprout Social, this role listens for opportunities to engage, supports blood drive partners through digital interaction, responds to reviews, maintains hours and listing accuracy, and represents OBI with professionalism and compassion in public online spaces.

This role sits within the Contact Center as a digital extension of customer service and is empowered to act independently, exercise judgment, and bring OBI's digital engagement to life each day. During slower engagement periods, this role provides support to digital customer service channels such as SMS, chat, and email.

Location:

Oklahoma City, OK

Salary:

Competitive salary based on education and/or experience and

$500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Two or more years of experience in digital engagement, community management, social media engagement, or digital customer experience preferred.

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or donor-based organizations is a plus.

Exceptional written communication skills with strong grammar and tone control

Experience engaging with customers or communities on social media platforms.

Familiarity with online review management and business listings (Google, Apple, etc.)

Experience with social listening or digital engagement tools preferred

Ability to manage multiple digital conversations simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and documentation practices

Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments

Strong brand awareness and professionalism in public communication

Sound judgment and decision-making in public online environments.

Comfort working independently without constant direction.

Ability to represent OBI's voice with professionalism, empathy, and consistency.

Initiative to identify engagement opportunities without being prompted.

Ability to seamlessly shift between community engagement and customer service tasks when needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Monitor and engage in conversations involving donors, partners, and the public.

Proactively engage with blood drive hosts and community partners on social platforms

Serve as the public digital voice of OBI in comments, tags, messages, and reviews.

Monitor, respond to, and manage Google and social media reviews.

Maintain and update OBI business listings, including hours of operation and location accuracy across platforms.

Identify digital engagement opportunities and share insights with Marketing, CRM, and Donor Recruitment teams.

Respond to donor questions about eligibility, preparation, and appointments through digital channels.

Document meaningful donor interactions in donor systems when appropriate.

Support urgent need messaging and real-time engagement during shortages.
