
The YMCA of Pueblo is seeking a responsible, organized, and motivated individual to join our Marketing team as a
Marketing Coordinator . This position supports the mission of the Y, a leading nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
As a member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to support marketing initiatives and organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities. This role requires strict adherence to internal and external deadlines, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Support and assist the Marketing Department with day-to-day operations, including working with Directors to fulfill marketing requests and delivering marketing collateral, as well as returning phone calls and emails.
Maintain follow-up and coordinate internal projects.
Support the Marketing Director with video production/editing.
Develop and capture Y Stories through Membership/Community Outreach and Staff engagement. Weekend and evening hours may apply.
Maintain a daily social media presence; post once daily to social media platforms using Meta Business Suite (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok).
Strategic and thorough record administration and file management to ensure operational efficiency.
Provide team support for all events led by the Association such as Annual Meeting, Corporate Cup, Turkey Trot, Father Daughter Dance, and other events that may require support.
Develop, produce, and distribute program information necessary to promote assigned programs in accordance with membership and marketing plans.
Educate staff, volunteers, and members about the charitable nature of the Y; lead assigned aspects of the fundraising campaign.
Represent the YMCA of Pueblo at external events and functions.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
High School diploma.
Associate’s degree in marketing, development, or business and/or 2 or more years of experience in marketing, sales, or advertising required.
Knowledge and experience with Adobe Suite Tools (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, etc.) required.
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, membership services, or donor relations experience required.
Ability to work well and effectively communicate with a diverse population in a wide variety of situations via telephone, e‑mail, and face‑to‑face.
Ability to set work priorities and handle multiple tasks while ensuring processing and job responsibility deadlines are met.
CPR, AED, Oxygen and First Aid Certification within one month of hire.
