RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer oaths/affirmations.
- Perform acknowledgments.
- Conduct verifications on oath or affirmation (jurats).
- Witness or attest signatures.
- Note protests in limited circumstances.
- Certify or attest copies, including certifying tangible copies of electronic records.
- Fulfill other duties as provided by law.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- MUST be a U.S. citizen.
- High school diploma or equivalent. Clear a background check.
- Notary Public certification. Completion of education and exam is mandatory. Notary Bond is required ($10,000: 4-year term).
- Experience in notarizing loan documents.
- Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills. Detail-oriented.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
High-speed Internet connection. Dependable computer with camera and microphone. Home office setup. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
PAYMENT
$125.00-$200.00 per loan signing appointment.
