Position Overview:
The Retail Cash Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing transactions at the point of sale (POS), and ensuring the store remains stocked and visually appealing. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales and profitability by exceeding store and personal performance goals. Achieve metrics such as sales volume and average dollar sale (ADS), along with participation in promotions. Utilize selling skills and customer service standards to enhance the customer experience. Build strong relationships with customers through a friendly demeanor and exceptional service. Engage in store promotions and sales incentives to contribute positively to store success. Maintain company standards for appearance, performance, knowledge, and personal grooming. Stay informed about current promotions and manage multiple customer interactions effectively. Communicate customer needs regarding merchandise to management to optimize stock levels. Ensure the merchandise is well-managed and the cash wrap area is tidy. Answer phone inquiries in a professional and friendly manner. Key Partners: Store Management Human Resources District Manager Asset Protection Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Previous retail experience is a plus. Attention to detail is critical. Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Ability to maintain a neat appearance and grooming standards. Capable of standing for prolonged periods. Able to lift items weighing between 15-30 pounds.
