Customer Marketing Associate – Messaging New York City Marketing

FanDuel is looking for a sharp, culturally fluent Associate, Customer Messaging to help shape how we speak to customers across our owned CRM channels. This role sits at the intersection of copywriting, brand, personalization, and experimentation. You’ll write compelling, high-impact messages that not only drive customer intent in the moment, but also helps us learn what great CRM messaging looks and feels like and how it should evolve over time. You’ll partner closely with Lifecycle Strategy, CRM Ops, Go-To-Market, Creative, and Experimentation teams to bring our brand to life in a way that feels timely and relevant to our customers. THE GAME PLAN Everyone on our team has a part to play

Craft high-impact messages for all CRM channels that help reduce friction and build trust with customers

Apply FanDuel Predicts’ brand voice and messaging strategy consistently across all CRM touchpoints

Translate promotions, product updates, and key sporting and cultural moments into compelling customer-facing narratives

Bring personalization strategies to life through messages that feel relevant, not templated

Analyze performance data to identify messaging patterns that drive customer engagement

Partner with Go-to-Market to ensure messaging aligns with broader brand and campaign narratives

Work closely with the Customer Marketing Experimentation team to ideate on and integrate learnings from messaging tests

Coordinate with CRM Ops to bring campaigns to life from brief through execution

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into customer-first messages

THE STATS What we're looking for in our next teammate

1-2 years of experience in copywriting, CRM, content marketing, or a related field

An avid sports fan with a pulse on culture, trends, and moments that matter to our customers

Curiosity about what motivates customer behavior and eager to test, learn, and iterate

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams at once

A strong writer who is comfortable working within constraints – especially short-form, performance-driven copy

Familiarity with A/B testing or experimentation concepts

Strong instincts around tone, voice, and audience relevance

Ability to turn insights into actionable copy recommendations

Knowledge of sports and/or experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus

The applicable hourly range for this position is $35.10 - $43.75 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
