Director of Men’s Ministry Position Summary
The Director of the Men's Ministry is a bold, Spirit-empowered missionary leader who forms men to become saints and courageous missionaries of the Church. This role is boots-on-the-ground evangelization, calling men out of passivity and into heroic virtue through Sacred Scripture, sacramental living, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Working closely alongside Outreach, this Director helps move students from initial encounter to lifelong discipleship and mission. Will also help oversee the household. This position requires flexibility and adaptability. Responsibilities are contingent upon the unique gifts of the individual and collaboration with the staff team. In addition to primary responsibilities, this Director will personally lead at least one weekly discipleship study or men’s group, modeling multiplication and spiritual fatherhood. Key Responsibilities
Evangelization & Discipleship
Lead weekly men’s formation gatherings that are Scripture-saturated, sacramentally rooted, and open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Engage in relational, one-on-one discipleship that challenges men to repentance, holiness, and missionary boldness. Be visibly present on campus, pursuing men, inviting them into brotherhood, and calling them higher. Work directly alongside Outreach in evangelistic initiatives, tabling, events, and follow-up conversations. Raise up student leaders and form them to disciple other men. Encourage frequent Confession, Eucharistic devotion, daily prayer, fasting, and spiritual discipline. Model charismatic prayer expressed faithfully within Catholic tradition. This role is not program-based; it is relational, apostolic, and mission-driven. Receive students ready for deeper formation from Outreach and evangelistic events. Coordinate leadership development with Student Leadership. Participate in weekly staff meetings, prayer, and strategic planning. Track student growth and leadership multiplication intentionally. Remain flexible and responsive to the needs of the mission and the movement of the Holy Spirit. Qualifications
Practicing Catholic man in full communion with the Church. College degree & minimal experience of 3 years leading Deep personal prayer life rooted in Scripture and sacramental grace. Proven experience in discipleship, mentoring, and evangelization. FOCUS, SPO, or missionary background strongly preferred. Comfort with charismatic prayer and Spirit-led ministry. Strong relational leadership and ability to challenge men toward virtue. Flexible, team-oriented, and mission-focused.
