This role is responsible for translating search data into actionable insights, delivering executive-ready reporting, and helping identify high-quality,high-intent traffic opportunities that will help drive engagement and retention of customers as a primary objective.This is not a keyword-only role. The SEO Lead will operate as a search strategist, deeply aligned with borrower intent, financial product education, and long-term customer value.**DESCRIPTION:****Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities*** Develop and maintain keyword, topic, and content roadmaps aligned to business priorities.* Produce monthly executive-level SEO performance reports focused on outcomes, not vanity metrics.* Partner with SEM leadership to align paid and organic search strategies.* Optimize content for traditional search engines and AI-driven search strategies (AEO).* Guide on-page organization, internal linking, and content structure best practices.* Identify opportunities to improve conversion from organic traffic, not just rankings.* Ability to effectively and accurately convey information to others.* Performs related duties as assigned by management.**Qualifications and Education Requirements:*** Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.* 6-9+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in regulated or financial industries.**Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge:*** Deep experience in Google Search and Console, GA4, SEMrush/Ahrefs, and crawling tools.* Proven experience creating executive-ready SEO reports and insights.* Strong understanding of search intent, funnel mapping, and lifecycle marketing.* Ability to mentor junior analysts and elevate overall content quality.**Work Environment and Physical Requirements:*** Working on-site at assigned office location.* Regular and punctual attendance adhering to schedule established by leadership.* Flexibility to work occasional adjusted work schedules, overtime, and evening and/or weekend hours to meet deadlines or as business needs demand.* Working in a cubicle hub, maintaining focus on phone calls in a noisy environment within earshot of multiple other conversations.* Sedentary work in a stationary position at a cubicle for prolonged periods of time.* Constant repetitive motions required for operating a computer, such as typing and managing phone calls.* Constantly communicating effectively verbally in English, including accurately exchanging information with others following identification of correct procedures.
