Power BI Product Owner / Senior BI Analyst - Contract-to-Hire

Overview We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence professional to step into a high-impact Product Owner role supporting enterprise reporting across supply chain, sales, and finance. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong business acumen, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on BI expertise with tools such as Power BI and SQL.
In this role, you will lead two analysts, manage reporting priorities, facilitate agile ceremonies, and translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for the BI development team.
Key Responsibilities • Serve as the Product Owner for enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives • Partner with supply chain, sales, and finance stakeholders to define and prioritize reporting requirements • Lead and mentor two analysts while overseeing ticket intake, prioritization, and delivery timelines • Facilitate and participate in Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the IT Operations Lead and Power BI Developer • Support incident resolution, address end-user inquiries, and stabilize existing dashboards • Drive the rollout of new reporting solutions, enhancements, and process improvements
Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, or a related field • Strong business acumen with proven experience partnering directly with cross-functional stakeholders • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, and modern analytics environments • Experience supporting reporting functions within supply chain, sales, or finance • Excellent communication, documentation, and requirements-gathering skills • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing analysts • Comfortable working within Agile frameworks and managing ticket pipelines
Team Structure This role leads two analysts (Supply Chain and Web Analytics) and works closely with the IT Operations Lead, who oversees the Power BI Developer.
