Job Title

The position is required to verify occupancy levels within the public parking facilities. Drives through the aisles of multi-level garages with Mobile License Plate Inventory (MLPI) equipment in the vehicle, scanning license plate information from each lot. Drives a vehicle in confined areas within parking lots and garages to assist customers with jumpstarts, tire pressure, and inflating tires. Conducts physical counts of parking areas as scheduled or requested; maintains and issues applicable reports. Oversees cleanliness and reports defective lighting in the parking garages. Under the general supervision of the Parking Operations Field Supervisor, this role is responsible for conducting, monitoring, and reporting vehicle inventory and parking occupancy levels across all public parking garages and surface lots using a company vehicle and inventory management software. While in the field, the position provides direct assistance to guests by offering parking availability information and guidance. Additionally, it supports and supplements courtesy patrol teams by assisting with vehicle location and addressing other service-related needs. What You Will Be Doing

Utilizes the Mobile License Plate Inventory (MLPI) system and software to facilitate occupancy management of parking facilities, in addition to physical observations Facilitates and participates in mid-day and other daily counts of vehicles in each parking facility Monitors, communicates, and submits reports to the Field Support Lead regarding parking availability and occupancy levels. Monitors Parking Status variable message signs (VMS) and reports discrepancies. Monitors Parking Guidance System and reports discrepancies Monitors, identifies, and reports back to the Field Support Lead on any maintenance related issues that are discovered in the terminal garages, surface lots or roadways (i.e., parking guidance system, signage, lighting, etc. Provides guest assistance related to parking availability to mitigate capacity constraints. Maintains various operational reports (i.e., parking space capacity, courtesy patrol logs, and daily inventory counts). Responds and resolves customer service issues for all parking garages and surface lots. Monitors and reports system outages and malfunctioning lane equipment including inventory software, gates, and variable message signs. Activates appropriate directional signage when parking facilities reach critical occupancy. Verifies and reports discrepancies related to parking availability capacities. Communicate with DPS to report any public safety related issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Assists the Environmental Affairs Department in performing field observations of Airport activities with respect to potential environmental issues. Notify the Environmental Affairs Department of any observation that may have an environmental impact. What You Need

Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent. One (1) year of experience in a customer service working environment One (1) year driving experience Possession of a valid Class C driver's license. Ability to communicate clearly using a two-way radio and mobile telephone. Ability to operate a vehicle for extended periods daily. Ability to operate standard office equipment mobile devices. Ability to operate onboard vehicle inventory software and equipment Ability to perform intermediate mathematical computations involving percentages. Ability to prepare and maintain a variety of manual logs. Ability to type when typing for speed is not required. Ability to maintain effective and harmonious working relationships. Ability to work rotating and flexible hours and shift assignments and to report to work on short notice. About Us
