Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA):
13-week contract position to cover summer shortage in Philadelphia, PA Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM EST Pay is $37 per hour Must have interpersonal relationships skills that permit effective communication with parents, children of various ages, peers and supervisors Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Duties:
Reads and reviews the medical record to understand the patient's diagnosis, precautions, goals and treatment plans. Asks questions regarding unclear information. Provides direct interventions in individual or group sessions as planned, especially gait training, exercise and modalities. Evaluates the patient's response to intervention and documents patient progress in the chart. Informs the physical therapist of progress/problems with specific patients. Performs care coordination tasks associated with patient care, including communication with hospital and community providers, tracking of medical equipment, etc. Job Requirements: PTA experience-One year of PTA experience within the last 3 years Pennsylvania State License as PTA experience CPR Certification (no online courses) not expiring within 90 days Pediatric experience Inpatient experience preferred Associate degree from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program Nurses and More offers: Weekly pay Advance pay ATM payroll card option Direct deposit Paid time off (PTO) Great support staff A great work environment Competitive pay rates Other job opportunities available for clinics, hospitals, LTC and other areas.
