This role acts as a strategic analytics partner with Marketing and Operations leadership. It translates complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence digital strategy, promotional efficiency, and revenue growth. As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will go beyond just reporting, and play a key role in helping to build and shape decisions.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing complex SQL queries and presenting data-driven recommendations to collaborators. You are curious, commercially minded, and driven to connect data to business impact. What You’ll Do
Act as the primary analytics partner to Marketing and Operations teams, translating business objectives into measurable benchmarks and performance frameworks.
Drive insight from complex datasets using SQL and BI tools to influence digital initiatives, campaign strategy, and operational priorities.
Evaluate CRM and bonus campaign performance, identifying optimization opportunities that improve engagement, retention, and return on investment.
Benchmark performance across channels and platforms, delivering clear recommendations on where to invest, refine, or scale.
Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards that provide actionable access to digital performance and growth trends.
Lead ad-hoc strategic analyses to answer ambiguous business questions and present findings to leadership in a clear, business-focused narrative.
Collaborate with Product Owners and business partners to define reporting requirements and ensure analytics solutions align with strategic objectives.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy by validating results, establishing consistent target definitions, and maintaining documentation standards.
Stay informed on interactive industry trends and competitive benchmarks, proactively surfacing insights that support long-term strategy.
Coordinate analytics initiatives with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in a business-facing Data or Marketing Analytics role.
Demonstrated experience turning complex data into actionable business recommendations that influence strategy.
Strong expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries to extract and structure large datasets.
Experience building executive-level dashboards in Power BI and/or SSRS.
Advanced Excel skills (Power Pivot, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Lookups).
Experience analyzing marketing, CRM, digital, or eCommerce performance metrics.
Demonstrable ability to define critical metrics, benchmark performance, and evaluate campaign efficiency.
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and partnering multi-functionally.
Good communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear business insights.
Highly organized, dedicated, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Marketing, CRM, eCommerce, or digital performance analytics experience.
Experience with promotional or bonus campaign optimization.
Gaming or interactive industry analytics experience.
