Job Description: Support and help lead social media strategy and execution for sports original content, driving high-impact, short-form social storytelling across key platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Support and, at times, lead social strategy, ideation, and execution for sports originals Screen documentaries and original shows to identify compelling moments for social content Clip, edit, and optimize short-form video for Instagram and TikTok Publish and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, X, Threads, and YouTube Partner with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver campaigns Manage social toolkits and talent-facing communications for campaigns Balance multiple campaigns and high post volume in a fast-paced sports environment Requirements:
Must-Haves: 5+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager, Producer, or Specialist Strong background in
sports and entertainment social media
(not brand-only) Deep understanding of social trends and what performs on Instagram and TikTok Hands-on experience clipping and editing short-form video from long-form content Proficiency with Photoshop and Adobe Premiere Experience publishing and scheduling via social tools (Sprinklr preferred) Comfortable communicating with internal teams, talent, and external partners Passion for sports and ability to thrive under tight timelines and pressure Portfolio showcasing social campaigns and posts
Nice-to-Haves: Experience with CapCut or Slate Background at major sports, media, or streaming companies Light videography experience
