Responsibilities
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Software Asset Management programs on the ServiceNow platform, including license retention, governance, and compliance.
Manage end‑to‑end IT Asset Management projects (hardware & software), conduct workshops, gather requirements, and develop solutions.
Provide data‑driven insights and presentations to asset owners, operational IT teams, and executive leadership.
Develop processes, build supplier/vendor relationships, and influence cross‑functional collaboration to achieve business outcomes.
Prioritize and balance ITSM tasks (incidents, requests, changes) with project workloads (Agile and Waterfall).
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, customization, and integration with other systems.
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution of ServiceNow‑related issues.
Collaborate with stakeholders, assess current processes, define solution requirements, and configure ServiceNow accordingly.
Assist with story creation, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Lead the development, implementation, and maturation of processes to manage all software, hardware, and cloud assets across the Enterprise.
Manage IT software, hardware, and service agreements; interpret licensing terms, reconcile license positions, renew, and ensure compliance.
Configure, customize, and code all areas of the IT Asset Management product line, including SAM Professional, HAM Professional, Procurement, CMDB, Client Software Distribution, and Cloud cost management.
Stay informed on software licensing models and industry trends to optimize costs and inform decision‑making.
Design and own technical solutions on ServiceNow, providing administration, development, and maintenance.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for software asset management to optimize utilization and minimize risks.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure accuracy and completeness of software asset records.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within ServiceNow and asset management practices.
Streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and enhance efficiency to maximize IT investment value.
Provide training and guidance to IT staff and end‑users on ServiceNow and asset management processes.
Create and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and user guides to support operations.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience :
At least 7 years in IT asset management.
At least 4 years in ServiceNow development.
Lead at least one full‑lifecycle ServiceNow implementation involving IT Asset Management.
Strong understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management processes.
Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, configuration, and development.
Excellent understanding of implementation methodologies/SDLC (e.g., Agile Scrum, Waterfall).
US citizenship required.
Desired Qualifications :
ServiceNow certifications (System Administrator, CIS HAM, CIS SAM) required; additional ITOM certifications preferred.
ITAM certifications, ITIL V4 certification, or related certifications preferred.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills, ability to streamline workflows and automate processes.
Strong vendor negotiation and contract management abilities.
Proficiency with scripting (e.g., JavaScript) and workflow automation tools.
Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, reporting/visualization tools).
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud services.
Effective communication, prioritization, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.

Competitive total reward package with a starting pay based on skills, experience, and location.
Salary range: USD $95,000 – $155,000 (variable by region).
