location is looking for a
Tool Designer
for their facility. Shift :
1st shift Responsibilities
Design and develop
tooling, dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges
to support production requirements Create detailed
2D drawings and 3D CAD models
using software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms Interpret product drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate tooling design Modify and improve existing tooling to enhance performance, durability, and production efficiency Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve tooling and process issues Support new product launches by developing tooling concepts and validating designs Conduct design reviews and provide technical support during tool build, testing, and implementation Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices Maintain documentation of tooling designs, revisions, and project timelines Qualifications
Minimum of
3-5 years of experience in 2D and/or 3D tooling design , including molds, dies, or production tooling Strong understanding of
basic machining processes and manufacturing principles
is highly desirable Proficiency in
3D modeling software
such as NX, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar CAD platforms is required Working knowledge of
Microsoft Office applications , including general Excel skills
