Description As the Director, HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing and optimizing the HR service delivery framework supporting an operating unit within a division.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing HR service delivery strategies and initiatives to ensure that business objectives are met, ensuring leaders and employees receive the highest level of service and support.

Responsible to partner with the people operations team, which includes HR Service delivery consultants (HRBP), talent development, talent acquisition, and workplace services, to support the manager and employee population.

This position is critical to maintaining a positive employee experience and contributing to the achievement of our organizational goals.

Service Delivery Strategy:

Partnering with HR, People Services, develops and executes a comprehensive HR service delivery strategy that aligns with Emory Healthcare's objectives and promotes a culture of excellence in HR services to include: Identify solutions for improving employee experience, promoting organizational culture, employee engagement, succession planning efforts, developing leaders, and retention of critical talent with alignment to our company's cultural values

Provide support to client groups on various HR-related areas such as onboarding, benefits, performance management, and training opportunities

Guide new managers to strengthen and support their leadership skills in performance coaching, addressing difficult conversations, and general employee relations challenges & opportunities

In support of systemwide HR operational procedures ensures client group awareness and compliance on such as merit and bonus, leave management administration, and employee relations recommendations within

Partner with the people operations team to assist with identifying solutions for improving succession planning efforts, employee engagement, and retention of talent aligning with our company's values

Process Improvement:

Continuously assess and optimize HR service delivery processes, systems, and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining compliance with legal and industry standards

Team Leadership:

May lead a team of HR professionals, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure the delivery of exceptional HR services

Service Metrics:

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and quality of HR service delivery, regularly reporting on performance and recommending improvements

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure that HR service delivery practices adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies, mitigating potential risks and maintaining data security

Change Management:

Lead change management initiatives related to HR service delivery improvements, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and HR staff

Employee Support:

Provide a point of escalation for complex employee inquiries or issues, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in resolving concerns

Partners with EHC HR Communities of Expertise, to support and cultivate positive employee relations

Budget Management:

Supports and may manage the HR service delivery budget, controlling costs while optimizing service quality

Employee Development:

Encourage professional development and growth of HR service delivery team members through training, coaching, and performance feedback

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

At least six (6) years of HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 3 years in HR service delivery or shared services roles preferred

Previous supervisory experience desired. Strong understanding of HR processes, technology, and best practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Proven track record in process improvement and project management

Knowledge of HR and healthcare compliance and regulations

Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Preferred Skills

Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR) is a plus

Previous experience in healthcare and/or highly matrixed organization preferred

Familiarity with HRIS and workforce management systems

Change management expertise
