Role Description This is a full-time, on-site GoAnywhere Consultant role based in Dallas, TX. The selected candidate will oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) environment. Day-to-day responsibilities include facilitating secure data transfers, managing file transfer processes, integrating various systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to ensure optimal performance and security of the MFT platform. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective file transfer solutions tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
Strong technical expertise in GoAnywhere MFT solutions, including implementation, configuration, and management.
Experience with secure file transfer protocols like SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and AS2, along with encryption standards and SSL/TLS configurations.
Proficiency in scripting and automation tools to streamline file transfer processes (e.g., Shell Scripts, PowerShell, Python).
Familiarity with IT infrastructure, networking, and system security to ensure robust data transfer processes.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in cross‑functional teams.
Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Industry certifications in managed file transfer platforms or cybersecurity are a plus.
