
A well-established, independent financial services firm is seeking a Client Relationship Specialist to provide dedicated support to a team of Financial Advisors serving High‑Net‑Worth individuals and families. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional client service while ensuring seamless operational execution. Position Overview The Client Relationship Specialist will partner closely with Financial Advisors to manage client onboarding, ongoing account administration, asset movements, and reporting. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining a superior client experience.
Key Responsibilities Client Onboarding & Account Administration
Coordinate and process new account documentation
Gather and maintain accurate client information
Handle account registrations and profile updates
Prepare operational paperwork including letters of authorization, check‑writing forms, and other required documentation
Asset Movement & Transaction Support
Process journals, wire transfers, and EFT transactions
Assist with trade execution and resolution of trade‑related discrepancies as needed
Review and reconcile exception reports
Assist with preparation and distribution of performance reports
Collect and organize client tax documentation for reporting purposes
Client Service & Relationship Management
Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries
Proactively communicate with clients to maintain strong relationships
Resolve service issues and elevate when appropriate
Ensure accurate updates within the firm’s CRM system
Compliance & Regulatory Support
Communicate with supervisors on compliance‑related matters
Respond to regulatory inquiries as needed
Maintain accurate documentation to support audit and oversight requirements
Qualifications Required:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in wealth management, brokerage operations, or financial advisory support
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational abilities and effective time management
Preferred:
FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses
Experience working with Schwab custodial platform
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce
Exposure to financial planning tools such as MoneyGuidePro
Experience with performance reporting systems such as Black Diamond
Knowledge of estate structures and related account servicing
