## OverviewThis active, kind, and warm two-mom family in Long Beach, CA, welcomed a baby boy in November. They're seeking a full-time nanny to start in March, when the baby will be four months old. They're looking for a nurturing, inclusive-minded, hands-on, proactive, and adaptable experienced nanny. They have two dogs, are screen-free, and value nature, the outdoors, and enrichment for their little guy. They are a bilingual Spanish/English household and would prefer someone who is fluent in both languages, but it's not required!The family will guarantee 35 hours each week, but the scheduled days will shift every six weeks, within the Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM time frame, to accommodate one Mom's work schedule.### The Ideal Candidate for this JobThe ideal nanny will be excited to work with their family! They are active - they love walks on the beach, hiking, and being outdoors, and will do best with a nanny who shares that same love. Keeping the baby engaged and active in parallel with his developmental stages is important! A background in childhood development or education is certainly a plus. They're also looking for a candidate who is warm, joyful, collaborative, adaptable, and a self-starter. Their home atmosphere is welcoming and light - they are looking for reliable and consistent help to maintain the spirit of their household as they return to their full time positions.Ideal candidates will have at least five years of experience, three professional childcare references that we can call and verify. Full vaccinations are required, including Tdap within the past ten years. You'll need to have or be open to obtaining in-person infant CPR and first aid, and you'll need to be I-9 compliant (with proof you're legally able to work in the US). You'll need to be able to drive and have your own car as well.### ResponsibilitiesAll things related to baby! Reading to him, going on walks, and attending to his needs and daily schedule. They want him to be outside, so aligning on this is important. The family does not have a TV and is fairly screen free.
