The Cloud Solutions Specialist (CSS) at AHEAD is a technical expert who collaborates with our account teams to identify, qualify, and design solutions that facilitate our clients' digital transformation. The CSS will primarily focus on AWS infrastructure and cloud services, with additional knowledge of Azure and GCP being advantageous. This role positions the CSS as a subject matter expert and thought leader within their specialty.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in AHEAD's Cloud Solutions and service delivery teams.
Serve as a thought leader for clients by architecting and designing tailored technical solutions.
Support sales teams by providing insights and solutions that align with customer business and technical needs.
Establish relationships with other Cloud team members and stakeholders to achieve sales objectives.
Develop and implement strategies for technical sales engagements.
swiftly complete necessary pre-sales documentation such as configurations, pricing proposals, and presentations.
Assess sales opportunities based on customer requirements, decision-making processes, and funding availability.
Present and communicate the value of AHEAD's solutions to clients and management.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
Maintain extensive product, technology, and industry knowledge.
Be proficient with relevant software applications.
Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
Qualifications:
Expertise in AWS cloud environments.
Strong understanding of Azure and GCP cloud platforms.
Proven consulting experience, advising clients on technical solutions and involvement in pre-sales processes.
Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, networking, and system administration at the enterprise level.
Track record of architectural leadership, effectively integrating solutions across various vendors.
Capability to evaluate new technologies and deliver internal training.
Strong ability to discern customer needs, articulate requirements, and design corresponding solutions.
Skill in developing and presenting architectural recommendations and implementation services.
Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Visio and PowerPoint.
Strong technical aptitude.
Demonstrated ability to lead technically and enhance team performance.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
Familiarity with automation and advanced configuration management tools is a plus.
