Conduct developmental edits
to enhance logical flow and coherence based on client briefs and editorial goals.
Copy edit
for precision in grammar, punctuation, and structure, all while preserving the unique client and brand voice.
Line edit
for concise language and improved phrasing, ensuring the writer's intent remains intact.
Fact-check
statistics, sources, and quotes to guarantee accuracy.
Adhere to style guides , editorial briefs, and SEO best practices across all content.
Collaborate closely
with editorial leads and writers to provide clear, actionable feedback.
Consistently meet deadlines
while maintaining proactive communication regarding progress and challenges.
Maintain high editorial standards
across all projects and clients.
Who We're Looking For: You have
2-3 years of editing experience
with marketing, SEO-driven, or B2B content (agency or client-side experience is a plus).
You possess a
strong editorial eye
for improving clarity and structure without sacrificing the writer's voice.
You are comfortable with
developmental, copy, and line editing
based on project needs.
You can
tailor content
to suit a variety of audiences and objectives.
You have a basic understanding of
SEO fundamentals
and can balance optimization with readability.
You are
detail-oriented , capable of identifying inconsistencies and elevating content quality.
You are
organized, self-motivated, and reliable
when it comes to meeting deadlines.
You welcome
feedback
and enjoy collaborating to help writers enhance their skills.
You are
adaptable
and comfortable with a range of industries and content types.
A degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Portfolio Requirement:
